E-mail Rendering Said Better Elsewhere

The subject of e-mail rendering is complex and filled with misperceptions. (By e-mail rendering, I mean -- what an e-mail looks like in the in-box and why.

I'm often frustrated because as soon as I start explaining what's really going on,  eyes glaze over. And, because what I'm saying is often so amazingly counter-intiutive, I think a lot of people think I'm making this stuff up.

So, imagine my delight when someone else has done the heavy lifting for me. All the facts in all their glory. So here's a great article to look at that's part of the E-mail Experience Council's web site -- all about e-mail rendering.

Have a double-latte and read it if you dare!
